Privacy Policy

This policy describes the current handling of data in the WOOTREX app and on its website. For privacy questions, contact wootrex@seznam.cz.

Workout and body data

Workout data, body weight and body measurements are stored locally on the device. Physique photos selected or captured by the user are used and stored locally.

Location and device permissions

• GPS is used to record outdoor activities.
• The camera and photo library are accessed only when the user invokes a feature that requires them.
• The microphone may be used only by functionality that explicitly requires recording.

You can grant or revoke permissions in your device settings.

Map tiles

When displaying a recorded outdoor route map, the app loads map tiles over HTTPS from OpenStreetMap (tile.openstreetmap.org). The provider receives your IP address, technical request information and identifiers of the requested tiles, which can reveal the displayed area. The route is drawn on the device; this feature does not upload the complete GPS recording to OpenStreetMap. The provider describes its handling of requests in the OpenStreetMap Foundation Privacy Policy.

Local data retention and deletion

Local data are used for workout history, activity recording and tracking body progress and remain in app storage until removed. Body records and their photos can be deleted in the app. Local app storage can be removed through the operating system's app-data removal or uninstall options; the exact options depend on the platform. Originals in the photo library, exported or shared copies and any system backups must be managed separately. WOOTREX cannot remotely delete data stored only on your device.

User-initiated sharing

If you export or share a transformation photo, the selected content is passed to the app or recipient you choose, and further processing is subject to their policies.

Tracking and data sharing

WOOTREX does not use advertising tracking and does not sell personal data. No WOOTREX analytics backend currently collects workout, body or location data.

E-mail feedback

If you send feedback to wootrex@seznam.cz, your e-mail address, message content and any attachments you provide are processed through your and the recipient's e-mail providers to handle your message. The in-app feedback form can add the app version, build number, operating system and its version, and device model to the e-mail draft; you can turn off inclusion of these diagnostics. You complete sending in your e-mail client. Share only information you wish to send.

This website

The WOOTREX website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate website traffic and page usage. This analytics is not used for advertising and does not use tracking cookies. WOOTREX does not use Google Analytics or advertising trackers and does not sell visitor data. E-mail links open your e-mail client.

Future changes

This policy may change when accounts, cloud synchronization, analytics or other online services are introduced. The updated version will be published on this page with a revised update date.
